How I stopped getting ghosted by potential clients
It didn’t stop completely (simply because we’re humans interacting with other humans).
The reason my enquiries typically lead to high-ticket sales?
It’s not because I handle objections in the DMs or because smooth talking is my middle name. It’s because I know how to position my offers as a match for the person who’s most likely to thrive inside them in the first place.
And on the occasions where I get ghosted after I disclose the price, I don’t make it mean a thing about me because “my offer isn’t as good as hers”, I make it mean a thing about my messaging.
Because when we look at it for what it is (data), the only reason your people can’t see the value of your offer is because your messaging isn’t showing them how they should value it.
Your people aren’t collectively reluctant to invest high-ticket.
Your people don’t collectively want the moon on a stick for pennies.
And your people sure-as-heck aren’t collectively asking “how can you guarantee this will work for me?”
The reason behind buyer reluctance
If the existing data (in this case, your DM conversations and sales), is telling you that your people are collectively reluctant to invest in your high-ticket offers, it’s a messaging problem.
And while you’re pivoting your messaging, second guessing and refreshing your DMs to see who voted in your poll...
She’s created so much conviction in her message that it does not waver when people aren’t buying.
She’s speaking directly to the one person who’s a perfect match for her offer, regardless of whether someone else unfollows.
By the time you’ve analysed why her sales have been blowing up lately, she’s already signed her next 8k client.
Your messaging should attract AND repel
Your messaging should effectively attract those who are a match for your spaces but, it should also repel those who don’t identify with your message, your lens and your brand
Yet, if your message isn’t clearly positioned to the client you WANT inside your offer, it’s the reason this dream client is wavering in their decision to buy from you.
When you know how to craft messaging that positions you as match for the type of client who’s typically ready to pay, stay and rave about you:
You show your people how they should perceive your offers. To the extent where they’re so bought in, they’re raving about your offers for you.
Your people devour any offer at any price point, because you know how to articulate why they’ll thrive inside each of your spaces.
It's the kind of messaging that lives rent-free inside your dream client's head.
Oh and...
Mastering this means you’ll have a set of messages that you can rinse and repeat in your content because you’re no longer throwing spaghetti at the wall and hoping it sticks. Instead - you speak, they buy.
